I’ve been rather silent, lately.
Part of that is due to the holidays and spending more of my time with my family. The other half of the equation is planning. I have been planning like a madwoman over the last month.
To be very honest with you, when I started Hexcellence, I had no idea what I was doing. I knew I wanted to read tarot for a living, and I knew I wanted to branch out from there, but I really didn’t know how.
I think the various blog entries I’ve posted over the past year has reflected that confusion. No rhyme or reason, I merely posted whatever I felt like talking about. And slowly, through watching my stats, you (my dear reader) told me what you wanted to read about.
I took all of that into account when planning out my blog posts for 2017. Each month has its own theme and will consist of three posts (and various free downloads!) per month. They are as follows:
JAN: Self Love
FEB: Love Magick
JUN: Shadow Work
JUL: Start of the Summer of Self Love
AUG: Summer of Self Love (Cont)
SEP: Moon Magick
OCT: Shadow Work
NOV: Magick 101
DEC: Path Work
Slowly, over the last year, I’ve begun to realize just how much it would mean to me to be able to help people with their spiritual and magical practices. Those of you that haven’t started yet because you don’t know how, and those of you whose paths have grown stale, but you don’t know how to freshen them up. The thread of that theme–that goal–is present throughout the planned content of 2017, but is the most prominent in November and December.
Magick 101 is just what it sounds like (how-tos for witchcraft). Path Work in December is for those of you who want to carve out your own spiritual path, but don’t know where to start.
And while plotting out potential posts, I thought to myself, “why not let the reader help plan the content they’re going to read?”
Want to help me plan out content for November and December? I’ve written out a quick, 9 question survey for you to fill out. This will really help me figure out what you need help with, which will tell me what I should be writing.
